Last night I got motivated and got the center section of the commission tshirt quilt done. This represents 43 tshirts! I've never gotten that many together in a quilt before. It will have a narrow navy blue border around this and then a border of 19 more tshirts! I won't get to that until next week but I am dyeing the backing fabric this weekend. By the way, it really is square, I was just a bit lazy putting it up on the design wall. While piecing this I got another dozen blocks of Teal Tomorrow done too.
This morning I had to spend about an hour in the garden watering and harvesting since Chris is out of town. It was waayyy too much outdoor exposure and my sinuses have been insane all day. I hope the friends that are receiving these veggies are appreciative! LOL!
Tonight I'm making soap.

busy girl! I'm still doing laundry from the girls....it's amazing how many towels 3 girls can go through in a week, between showers, extra shampoos after pool time and then the pool towels........

This quilt has an interesting assortment of t-shirts-not all quilts are like that with some real duds in them.

I am in awe that anyone could put together 43 T-shirts (actually, 43 of anything!) but there are more to go on the border? This will be an amazing quilt!
