I finally did it. I opened an Etsy shop! See the link in my sidebar?
This is the reason I have not posted much from the dye studio over the past couple of months. I was creating INVENTORY! So far I have 4 types of products:
- Custom order tie dye shirts. You pick the design and specify the colors of your choice. Wan your high school, college or pro team colors? I can do it! I'll add new designs over time but you are also welcome to email me for any design that you've seen here on the blog.
- Hand dyed fabrics in palettes. These are the result of all of the photo color palettes that I've been doing.
- Painted fabrics. Metallics and sun prints
- Quilt backings.
Want something special or your own fabric or clothing dyed? Just drop me an email and we can make it happen.
I am doing this because of all of the encouragement that I have received from the readers of my blog so I also want to thank you! I was going to post two things, one as a drawing and one for my first customer. Well, my first customer beat this post and happened last night! So we will skip right to the drawing.
Let's have a drawing for this fat quarter of metallic painted fabric. This fabric was dyed raspberrywith Procion MX dyes and then painted with black pearl metallic, copper and gold metallic and iridescent pink.
Add a comment on this post to be included in the drawing. The drawing will happen next Saturday, June 13.
Post about it the dawing on your blog and you will be entered twice in the drawing. Be sure to let me know about the post in your comment here.
Good luck in the drawing and thank you for pushing me to do this!

Wonderful fabrics and shirts. I'm sure they will be popular.

Ooh, another hand dye. I finally broke down and started a quilt with batiks that I've been 'collecting/hoarding' for a few years. This would be a beautiful replenishment of the batik stash!
