More bird photos

We had the perfect snow today. It snowed enough in the morning to cover the ground and it was all gone by mid-afternoon. Since you seemed to enjoy yesterday's photos I thought I'd share a few that Chris took today.  By the way, the first photo in yesterday's post is the view I have when I'm at my sewing machine.

The Downy Woodpecker on the suet feeder.

Don't they look great in a snow covered tree?

The last one really stands out...very inspirational...you should make a PC with this color theme.

You are cruel!

beautiful birds! the snow really makes their colors stand out.

Again beautiful! Your baptist fans are looking good from this angle. And Just to let you know I gave you the "make my day award" You inspire and entertain...makes blogland fun!

How could anyone not be happy looking at them !

oooo...black and white accented with red. I got goose bumps looking at these. Beautiful!

I like the last picture so much. Cardinals are very impressive, I think. That red is amazing (we don't have any here)...

love that last one of the cardinals in the trees.

Beautiful! Both sets of photos are wonderful. You do live in the ideal spot for bird watching. The cardinals are so striking in the snow covered trees! We have them here, too, a pair of them and I've seen both, but not recently.

Your photos are wonderful....the cardinal is my favorite bird. I just love how he stands out and I love his song....thanks for sharing. :)

I only have one pair of cardinals that visit my backyard, and only occasionally. It was so neat to see your pictures with lots of them.

shared these with hubby who is a huge birder! well he's not huge but you get my idea! Great pics of the cardinals

I wonder if next year for the holiday I could get snow in my living room along with the cardinals? That would be a lovely tree. I love, love, love that last pic!

This great photography Vicki! You have an awesome eye for beauty

Your Birdie photos are wonderful!! One question- Where are the squirrels???? I get so frustrated with the squirrels they always ruin our feeders!!!!
i have just tagged you for the You MAke My Day Award!! Cuz you make my day everytime I visit your blog!!
Hugs!
Elizabeth

Wow, those beautiful red birds in that snowy tree, so pretty!

You are so lucky to have cardinals to enjoy. We had them at our old house in Michigan, & I miss seeing them. They're such pretty birds, & have a beutiful song too. We mostly see Chickadees & Red Poles here in winter.

Sorry I haven't dropped by lately. I've missed you!

I have never seen anything like that in my life. Isn't Nature wonderful? What an inspiration.

Stunning photos, I just love that last one,
Sally

I love all your cardinals. They are so cheerful in the snow.

I haven't visited in a while, so I missed all your dye and paint experiments. I'm coming back next time I want to paint something. In fact, I just bookmarked artists Cellar so that I can try Stuart Gill paints for my next purchase!

And congrats on puzzling out your baptist fan issues -- it's looking great!

That's alot of male cardinals- we have a pair male and female. Mostly chickadees and sparrows...oh and an annoying downy woodpecker who has a tree outside the bedroom window he likes to peck at...enjoy your weekend

Your bird photos are awesome... whenever I try to take any of our garden birds, they seem to sense it and fly away!

Beautiful photos. None of us can make anything that beautiful can we?

How fantastic the splashes of red looks in the snowy landscape!
